How It Works

Step 1: Preliminary Call

The first step to the assessment involves a preliminary call between your TPL department and Syrtis Solutions. The introductory call will focus on your TPL program and answer the following questions: What types of TPL data are you receiving? How do you organize, prioritize, and manage the data? Who is your PBM? Is your pharmacy TPL synced with medical TPL? What roles does your PBM play? What role does the TPL claims department play?

Step 2: Create a Sample Population

Following the call, we will ask your TPL department to compile a sample population that the assessment can test.

Step 3: Test File Format

After determining the sample population, the appropriate data elements are organized, and the test file is formatted.

Step 4: File Transfer

The test file is then transferred to Syrtis for investigation.

Step 5: OHI DISCOVER SUMMARY RESULTS

Syrtis will then process the test file and return the results within three business days. The results include all undiscovered Rx coverage that your current TPL processes missed, a list of all PBMs for the returned undiscovered coverage, summary information for all undiscovered coverage that did NOT pass our exclusion rules, and a small sample of undiscovered medical coverage if requested.

6.
Step 6: Review Assessment Results

After you receive your assessment summary, Syrtis and your TPL department will meet to discuss the results and additional opportunities to improve your bottom line.
